Flexible Duct Connector
Manufactured for industrial, commercial and residential applications to eliminate vibrations caused by air handling units, fans and other equipment connected to air ducts. Supplied in a variety of special fabrics and two gauges of prime galvanized steel. The cloth should be selected airtight and flexible, with good weathering qualities, which can withstand the temperatures inside and outside the duct. Flexible duct connectors are supplied in various steel thicknesses, cloth qualities, cloth widths, steel widths and types of seams.
All air duct installations for ventilation, heating or cooling are attached to equipment containing a fan or blower. Vibration, noises and rattles from the fan or blower operation are transmitted into metal ducts therefore being carried throughout the system. In order to isolate the vibration and noises to the source, an air-tight flexible joint, consisting of a fabric secured to sheet metal on both sides, should be inserted between the equipment and the ducts. This flexible joint is called a "Flexible Duct Connector". To meet every type of installation requirement, be it for factory, institution, office or home, we offer the widest variety of flexible duct connector fabric and sizes – preassembled with the sheet metal permanently secured to the fabric by means of exclusive seam locks, our Flexible Duct Connector are dispensed from the carton, ready to complete fabrication faster, more efficiently and more economically than any conventional method.
